Planning
Preserving historic buildings, Green Belt land, and resident satisfaction is very important to us. We acknowledge that as a town and community it is exciting and important to evolve and grow, but we believe this should not have to compromise Beaconsfield’s history and character.
The Beaconsfield Society monitors planning applications and works with residents to ensure that developments preserve the beauty, history and character of Beaconsfield. We encourage everyone to have their say on local developments and consultations. Have a look at our easy guide on how to comment on planning applications:
You can view recent planning applications received in the old South Bucks District Council and Chiltern District Council areas here: https://publicaccess.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/online-applications/
We also respond to consultations on local and national proposals which would affect future local development and consultation rights, such as the Buckinghamshire Local Plan and Boundary Commission constituency area changes.
