Notice boards
With the generous support of the Shanly Foundation and Chiltern Railways, the Beaconsfield Society installed and maintains two notice boards, one on either side of the railway bridge in the New Town. These are available free of charge to local community organisations to advertise their meetings and events on the following basis.
Eligibility: organisations will be primarily charities or not-for-profit, though other organisations that are primarily aimed at serving the community may be considered. Decisions on eligibility will rest entirely with the Beaconsfield Society.
Size: Posters should be portrait, up to A4 in size with a minimum font size of 12 point and we will accept two per organisation, one for each side of the bridge. At peak times you may wish to supply A5 size to maximise chances that your poster will be placed.
Duration: Notices can be posted up to two weeks before an event and will be removed immediately thereafter.
Legal responsibility: All responsibility for the content of the posters will lie with the organisation posting it and the Beaconsfield Society will take no responsibility for its accuracy.
Availability: Space on our noticeboards is finite and we may only be able to post notices on one, rather than both boards at peak times. Priority will be given to A5 posters over A4 posters during busy times of the year (March to May and October to December).
Booking: Please complete THIS FORM in good time (3-4 weeks prior) before the event and bookings will only be accepted on condition that you accept the conditions above. We will be in touch shortly after your booking request with a confirmation and further info. [Process TBC]
Drop off: Hard copies of posters will need to be delivered to the address you will be given when your booking is confirmed.
