Local events
We run local events for Members and residents, and are always pleased to hear from anyone who would like to help organise an event – you can get in touch with us on TheBecSoc@gmail.com.
Previous events have celebrated Beaconsfield’s literary connections with Terry Pratchett, Enid Blyton, Robert Frost and Alison Uttley, our media success through Nick Park’s Wallace and Gromit at the NFTS, and our historical heritage including Hall Barn and wartime activities at Wilton Park.
We have also collaborated with other local voluntary organisations and interest groups through the Beaconsfield Now community days and Member events such as our successful Astronomy Night. Other topics have included crime prevention, local planning issues and popular quizzes.
